Could we see a lower price on the Xbox 360? It is has been rumored that the Xbox 360 will cost around $299 by Winter Time which is half the price of the upcoming next-gen system Sony PS3. The Xbox 360 will be getting it’s webcam on the 2nd of October. The camera will be able to record 640 x 480 pixel video at 30fps and take 1.3MP photos. Be on the look out for this hot Xbox 360 accessory. Via Stuff Mag.

There were rumors that there will be an external HD DVD drive for the Xbox 360. It will be released later this year. It was said that the new drive will offer the ability to enjoy HD DVD movies on Xbox and will provide consumers with more choices for experiencing high-definition content in digital form. We can’t find information on shipping dates, pricing, and whether or not the player will support HDCP or HDMI.
