In order to promote the new Simpsons Movie, Microsoft will be releasing limited edition versions of the Xbox 360 themed, The Simpsons. Only one hundred of these limited edition consoles will be made. No other information has been revealed. The Simpsons Movie will be out in theaters on July 27th.
The update for Rainbow Six on Xbox Live is now available. It is include two new multiplayer online modes one being assination (Team one vs. team two with a target) and Total Conquest. The update also includes three new maps, and two previous maps that have been re-done.

The production line the Xbox 360 Elite is officially announced. Featured in black, the console has a 120GB hard drive, HDMI port, black wireless controller and a black Xbox live headset. The Elite will retail for $479.99 and will be set to ship on April 29. And for those looking to upgrade their current Xbox 360, Microsoft will be shipping a standalone 120GB Hard Drive on the 29th as well. According to Game Informer magazine, the black Xbox 360 will have a 120GB hard drive, HDMI output, and be priced at $479. Unfortunately, the console will not have an internal HD DVD drive.
