DivX and Sony have announced that the PlayStation 3 will receive support for the DivX video format. There is no further info whether the console will play movies at 1080p or with surround sound in the format. Stay tuned for more updates.

• Themes - Create. Share. Love. Ain’t that what community is all about?
• XMB Color Selector - Take control of the mood.
• Music & Photo Playlists - But no Music-Photo playlists.
• Additional Sorting Options - Now you can sort your music.
• DualShock 3 support - A “last-gen” feature renewed.
• PLAYSTATION Network XMB group - Attention: PlayStation Store has moved to a new icon.
• Canon printer support - ‘Cause even game consoles need to print things.

We got NBA 2K8 for the PS3 to review. We gotta say that this game is pretty awesome. It makes NBA Live 08 look like a joke. The graphics and game play overall are more realistic. It’s like getting two games for the price of one, specifically because of the NBA Blacktop Mode. I’d definitely recommend this game to everyone!
