He is probably the America’s stupidest PS3 reseller. A man in California was mugged by the 2 men who had agreed to buy his 2 PlayStation 3 systems over Craigslist.com. The victim, a man in his 20s whose name was not released, was assaulted with pepper spray and robbed of the coveted consoles. He met the two men around 1 a.m. at a McDonald’s restaurant on Moody Street and Orangethorpe. And then, the one of the buyers sprayed the victim with pepper spray, and took off with the consoles. The suspects are described as men in their 20s. The victim said that he had advertised the consoles on Craigslist.com, and was trying to sell both items for US$5,000. PS3s retail for US$500 or US$600 per unit. Watch the video here for more details.

This project only exists for the sole purpose of providing satisfaction to people who hate the Play Station 3, or just like seeing the reaction of the people who just spend a day in line to get their hands on one of these consoles. Entertainment, nothing more!

According to the Taiwan branch of Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong (SCEH), there will be only 500 PlayStation 3 (PS3) game consoles available for sale in Taiwan during the product’s launch on November 17. While the Europeans didn’t get anything this year, they’ll have to wait until March, 2007. In addition, 350 PS3 will be available throughout Taiwan in 35 stores, and 150 units at Taipei downtown for a launch party. Well, at least the long lines won’t get any longer than 350 people.
