I’ve watched this new Sony PlayStation 3 Play commercial titled “Multi-Dimensional” four times and I’m gonna watch it once again..! Sony is basically trying to send the message that this system is the “complete entertainment experience”. What do you think?? Let’s watch the video after the break!

Sony has updated the PlayStation 3 firmware to ver 1.3., which includes support for the upcoming BD Remote controller which goes on sale on Dec 7th, 2006. The update also adds HDMI output format setting in BD / DVD setting, HDD data can be backed up on other media like Memory Stick or SD card and finally an option to restore the PS3 to factory settings so you can put it up on Ebay.

This is interesting! Someone who runs a website on his PS 3 console, challenges hackers and gamers from entire world to hack his website. If you manage to successfully gain access and “move a few files around”, he will give you the PS3 console, with an upgraded hard drive (120 GB, with pre-installed Linux), and a copy of Resistance Fall of Man as a reward.
However, it has to be a clean job, which means it is not permitted to do DOS attacks or to use other, rather lame, methods.
FYI, the website is still online, which means no one has managed to hack it yet.
