PS3 Virtua Tennis 3 Supports 1080p

SEGA’s newest game title, The Virtua Tennis 3, will support 1080p on the PS3. SEGA showed off the title at a press event held in Tokyo yesterday running on 1080p screens. This makes Virtua Tennis 3 the second PS3 title confirmed to run in 1080p, next to Gran Turismo HD.

The Upcoming Sony PlayStation 3 in North America

Sony Computer Entertainment America announced that they will release the Sony PlayStation 3 in North America on November 17, 2006. It will feature the new advanced RSX graphics chip with two choices of hard drive capacities, 20GB and 60GB. Sony will use a new motion-sensing controller which will feature an integrated six-axis sensing system. Using a Blu-ray drive, Sony confirmed that they will launch a handful of game titles. Sony just announced that the Sony PS3 will come with a 60 GigaByte Hard Drive as a standard, however the storage can be upgraded. The Sony Playstation 3 is scheduled to release in November. Info via Engadget.
