I can say that the BodieLobus Paradox Controller is the best controller for console First Person Shooters. The controller replaces the right analog stick on a PlayStation 2 controller with a trackball, which provides faster and more accurate aiming. It is now available for pre-order at Buyreflex for $26.99.

SplitFish has a new toy for PS2 owners that will bring their First Person Shooter experience to the next level when used. Dubbed as the EdgeFX mouse, it comes with the Dual Shock controller’s four face buttons on its side, and with a secondary controller that houses the analog and D-pads. Too bad, it is compatible only with the PS2. The EdgeFX mouse should be available at retail stores this week and should retail for around $70.
Sony has confirmed that the limited edition Silver PlayStation 2 will be released in North America for US$129. However, no release date was mentioned. The silver version has already been on the market in Japan and Europe for quite a while. It includes a silver PS2 console and a silver controller, same slim size as the familiar black slim PS2 version. Sony also informed that over 111 million PlayStation 2 consoles have been sold worldwide since 2000, and over 1.12 billion pieces of software have been sold as well.
