Mesquite, Texas-based independent developer id Software today announced that they are working on the new Doom 4 video game. They said that the game will be based on the Tech 5 engine, which means the game will be available on the Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360 and PC. Square Enix has announced that a limited special edition version of Crisis Core will be available in Q2 2008. The special edition version will come with a hard-backed artwork book and high quality slipcase. For your info, the Crisis Core is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII.
