Portal 2 Box Art Unveiled

Valve has released the official box art of Portal 2, which you can see above. As a reminder, Portal 2 will be released on April 18th, 2011 in the US, and on April 22nd, 2011 in Europe and Australia. Portal 2 is the sequel to the critically acclaimed 2007 video game Portal. [DigitalBattle]

Treyarch has finally announced the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops’ upcoming first map pack ‘First Strike’. This add-on content will become available on February 1st. The content will include “four new standard multiplayer maps – Berlin Wall, Discovery, Stadium and Kowloon – as well as a new zombie map in Ascension.” [VG247]

Dead Space 2 Demo Now Available On Xbox Live

Visceral Games has announced that the Dead Space 2 demo is now available for download through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Sadly, PC gamers are left with no demo. As a reminder, Dead Space 2 will be launched on January 25th, 2011 on the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows. [DigitalBattle]

Dragon Age II Combat Walkthrough

Bioware has released a teaser video showing a walkthrough of the Combat system created for Dragon Age II. The video games features reactive combat, allowing you to take real-time control of your character either by pausing to assign tactical actions to each party member, or take direct control of any individual character while AI directs the others. Dragon Age II will be launched in North America on March 8th, 2011 and in Europe on March 11, 2011. The game will be available for PC, Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. Blizzard celebrate its latest expansion of World of Warcraft: Cataclysm when it hits 3.3 million dollar in sales right on the very first day soon after its own “Call of Duty: Black Ops” hit an all time $650 million sales which makes WoW is the fastest selling MMO games of all time. “World of Warcraft: Cataclysm” launches first in the U.S., Mexico, Canada, Argentina, Europe, Chile, Russia, Australia, Southeast Asia and New Zealand on December 7 and in Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau on December 9. Around 10,000 retailers have to keep their shop open in midnight for WoW fans, and it was recorded around 15,000 players attended the official launching events held by Blizzard and its retail partners. Some other company tried to follow Blizzard footprints in ruling the peak of MMO games arena, but as the record has shown the 12 million subscribers for WoW in these past few year, a certain Dranaei king can only say “You Are Not Prepared!”.
