Codemasters’ Colin McRae DIRT Demo Live

Codemasters have released the demo of Colin McRae DIRT for the Xbox 360 and PC. The demo is around 800MB and can be downloaded now on Xbox Live. It has just one car, the Subaru Impreza WRX STI and three playable tracks. The game will be released in June 15th, while a PlayStation 3 version is in development and will be released late this year.

Quake Wars System Requirements

Quake Wars System Requirements

Splash Damage unveiled the system requirements for their Quake Wars multiplayer shooter, and also announced that a demo of the game will be available soon. Here is the list of system requirements.

  • CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz or AMD Athlon XP 2800+ processor (Pentium 4 3.0GHz or equivalent for Windows Vista)
  • RAM: 512MB RAM (768MB for Windows Vista)
  • Video Card: 128MB NVIDIA Geforce 5700 or ATI Radeon 9700
  • Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
  • HDD Space: 750MB of free hard drive space, plus 200MB for Windows swap file

Quake Wars Gone Gold

Quake Wars Gone Gold

Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has gone gold. Publisher Activision announced that the multiplayer shooter is in production and will be released on September 28, 2007. The game will retail for $49.99, with the Limited Collector’s Edition going for $59.99. However, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are still in development, and are not expected to go gold any time soon.
