Evan Wilson of Pacific Crest Securities says supposedly there’s been a huge commotion about a new Wii and Xbox coming out in 2010. It is said that the Nintendo Wii will have a shorter life cycle and that Microsoft made a bet that this generation of the Xbox might even be hitting sooner than 2010. Wilson also predicts a new Nintendo DS and PSP in 2010. But who knows if this is for sure or not?

Wii fans wont have to struggle using those wired nunchuks that tangle everytime you use them in vigorous games such as Wii boxing. Instead Nyko now has an alternative presenting the wireless nunchuk. This should be available in stores early January for $30.

The amazing solution to a malfunctioning Wii remote is to smack it a couple times. As Crazy as it sounds it has been said to work. Here’s the conversation GeekDad had with Nintendo support: Friendly Nintendo Help Desk Lady: “Okay - I want you to take the remote, button side down and smack it into the palm of your hand two or three times.”
Russ: “You’ve got to be kidding”
Friendly Nintendo Help Desk Lady: “No sir, do it hard enough that I can hear it across the phone line but not hard enough to damage the remote”
Russ: “You’re sure?”
