Nintendo has officially confirmed the availability of the new Nintendo 3DS. The 3D portable console will be released in Japan on February 26, 2011 for 25,000 Yen, in Europe on March 25, 2011 for GBP250 and in North America on March 27, 2011 priced at $249.99. The Nintendo 3DS can produce 3D effects without the need for any special glasses via a process called autostereoscopy. It will succeed the Nintendo DS series of handhelds, which primarily shares the handheld console market with Sony’s PSP. Nintendo 3DS Offers 3-5 Hours Battery Life

Nintendo has finally unveiled more 3DS specs at the Nintendo World event. The upcoming Nintendo 3DS will provide up to 5-hour of battery life when playing 3DS games. As a comparison, the regular DS Lite and DS XL’s battery life will last at least twice as long. What’s more, the Nintendo 3DS also has a powerful internal hardware such as a 3D screen. Amazon will release the Nintendo DSi Black Friday edition on November 26th, 2010. Available in green and orange, these special edition portable console will be released in limited quantity and will include Mario Party DS game as a bonus. Madden NFL Football For Nintendo 3DS Announced

EA Sports has officially announced that they will be releasing the Madden NFL Football for the Nintendo 3DS platform. The game is said to feature 11 vs.11 gameplay, 5 vs. 5 gameplay and Season Mode. The game will also include all 32 NFL stadiums with 3D specific cameras. The Madden NFL Football is scheduled to hit Nintendo 3DS in March 2011. [Hooked Gamers]

Konami Has Announced New 3DS Lineup For Europe

Konami has recently confirmed a new 3DS lineup for Europe. The publisher has confirmed its support for the new hardware with four new titles, including the Hideo Kojima-developed Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater, New Pro Evolution Soccer, Contra and Frogger.
