
Valve has revealed that Portal 2 will be receiving downloadable content this summer. Titled DLC #1, indicating more future content, the package will include new test chambers for players, leaderboards, challenge mode for single and multiplayer modes. Rovio announced that the new version of the game, Angry Birds Rio has been downloaded 10 million times in just 10 days. Priced at $1 per download, the game has generated $10 million in revenue, of which the developer gets 70% cut (on iPhone and Android). FYI, Angry Birds Rio initially includes two chapters, each with 30 levels; the Angry Birds rescue caged exotic birds in the first chapter and attack evil marmosets in the second chapter. “May the Force Be With you” as John Smedley, the president of Sony Online Entertainment launches Star Wars: The Clone Wars Adventures for Mac today. Star Wars: The Clone Wars Adventures is an extension of the TV series where players get online to play mini games, quests, competition and such. Players can do battle alongside their favorite character like Anakin Skywalker and Obi Wan Kenobi. New content will be updated weekly as the story on Cartoon Network progressing. Originally slated for a February 9, 2011 release, Valve Corporation’s upcoming first-person action/puzzle video game ‘Portal 2‘ has been delayed until April 18, 2011. The game itself will hit PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Mac when it outs in April. [VG247]
