The Force Feedback Gaming Vest provides its wearer with sensory feedback. Designed by Mark Ombrellaro, the TN Games 3rd Space vest untilities air pressure to produce thumping sensations wherever impact should be felt. The vest also provides eight zones which can simulate the direction and forces of bullet fire, explosions, and even the sensation of fingers tapping on you. The vest will be available next month for $189. The TN Games 3rd Space vest comes bundled with a game called 3rd Space Incursion and a special version of Call of Duty II which showcase the force feedback technology. The company is also offering patches for Quake 3, Quake 4 and Doom 3 which enable the vest in those games.

COTRON introduced its 5.1-channel gaming headset called the Mini-Theater during Taitronics Autumn 2007. The device allows gamers to concentrate on console games with active sound.

Nintendo’s “Wii Fit” game will be released in Japan on December 1 for approx. $75. The game features the “Wii Balance Board”, which can sense when a person moves and leans, and allows gamers to play virtual soccer balls and experience ski jumping on a TV screen. The board can also be used for yoga and aerobics.
