EA has announced the availability of the Mass Effect 2 Collector’s Edition that consists of a tin box, an art book, a DVD with making-of footage, and Issue 1 of the Mass Effect: Redemption comic. The Xbox 360 is priced at $69.99, while the PC version retails for $59.99. The Collector’s Edition also includes some unique weapons and armor for the game that are limited to this package. [Joystiq]

Sega has finally announced that Bayonetta will be released in the US on January 5th, 2010 and in Europe on January 8th, 2010. FYI, Bayonetta is an action game for the Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3 consoles, directed by Devil May Cry and Viewtiful Joe series creator Hideki Kamiya at Platinum Games in cooperation with publisher Sega. Microsoft will launch a new Xbox 360 Elite bundle in Japan on October 29th, 2009. This “value pack” will come with Lost Planet Colonies and Ace Combat 6 and will be priced at 29,800 Yen ($330). [Kotaku]
