
Capcom today announced a new Super Street Fighter IV, a standalone title with eight new characters added and some tweaks made based on community feedback. Some of new characters are T. Hawk, Dee Jay, and newcomer Juri. In terms of improvements to the game itself, producer Yoshinori Ono says that every character has been changed slightly based on comments from both players and the dev team, while an improved online experience is also promised. The game will be launched in Spring 2010 for the Sony PS3 and Xbox 360. [GameSpot]

Capcom Europe has announced the first expansion pack for Street Fighter IV. The Championship Mode expansion pack will add several gameplay options to the game. The expansion will be released on both Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 on April 24, 2009. [1up]

Here is good news for PC gamers. Capcom will release the PC version of the Street Fighter IV in Summer 2009. Capcom business development VP Christian Svensson noted that the recent arcade sticks and pads produced by Mad Catz are compatible on PC. Capcom is also discussing a PC specific gamepad bundle.
