A Final Fantasy XIII ad has appeared on YouTube for users in Japan, showing the game’s release date. The ad clearly displays that the game will be released in Japan on December 17th, 2009. Unfortunately, there is no official announcement from Square Enix regarding the game which is expected sometime in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates. [Joystiq]
Square Enix has announced that a limited special edition version of Crisis Core will be available in Q2 2008. The special edition version will come with a hard-backed artwork book and high quality slipcase. For your info, the Crisis Core is a prequel to Final Fantasy VII. The game features CG cutscenes, an innovative real-time battle system, more than 300 side missions and more. [DigitalBattle]

To honor the 10th anniversary of Final Fantasy VII, Suntory beverages Japan and Square Enix have announced a limited edition potion which will go on sale by September 13th, 2007. This limited edition potion will comprise of jelly enriched with vitamin B1. The Final Fantasy VII 10th anniversary potion will be available only in Japan with the price tag of $32.
