MCV reports that Nintendo will announce a new updated version of the Nintendo DS tomorrow morning. Their sources in Japan “whispered” that Satoru Iwata will make a press release at 5am UK time. Details are blurry (as always) but the new console is at least expected to come with MP3 playing and camera functions.

Evan Wilson of Pacific Crest Securities says supposedly there’s been a huge commotion about a new Wii and Xbox coming out in 2010. It is said that the Nintendo Wii will have a shorter life cycle and that Microsoft made a bet that this generation of the Xbox might even be hitting sooner than 2010. Wilson also predicts a new Nintendo DS and PSP in 2010. But who knows if this is for sure or not?
