
Capcom has officially announced the release date for the PC version of Resident Evil 5. The game will be released on September 15th, 2009. The fifth installment in the popular survival horror series was released for the Xbox and PS3 in March this year. The PC version has some improvements, specifically the addition of 3D, intended to take advantage of nVidia’s 3D Vision goggles. [CrunchGear]

Microsoft has announced its new limited edition Resident Evil Red Xbox 360. This limited edition console will consist of a red wireless controller, black Xbox 360 headset, 120GB hard drive, a copy of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, and finally a copy of the new Resident Evil 5 game. Here is the new Resident Evil Degeneration trailer at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show. The trailer displays that the film will be set 7 years from Raccoon City.
