
Capcom has officially announced the release date for the PC version of Resident Evil 5. The game will be released on September 15th, 2009. The fifth installment in the popular survival horror series was released for the Xbox and PS3 in March this year. The PC version has some improvements, specifically the addition of 3D, intended to take advantage of nVidia’s 3D Vision goggles. [CrunchGear]

Valve today announced the release of updated Source SDK files with inclusion of official map files of Team Fortress 2 maps, including the maps Lumberyard, Ravine, Badlands, Dustbowl, Granary, Gravelpit, 2Fort, Badwater, Goldrush, and Hydro. The new files allows modders and map makers to see how official maps are built, and lets users tweak with all the settings. Famous Call of Duty: World At War video game is a great success. It has surpassed more than 11 million sales since its launch in November last year. The video game has a good start during the pre-Christmas season, selling more than 1.88 million units in its first month on sale, adding another 1.86 million sales the following month. [CallofDuty]
