The rumor has been confirmed. The Nintendo DSi will be released in the States on April 5th, 2009. As a reminder, the DSi features two integrated digital cameras, an SD memory card slot, and supports MP3 files. Blood of Bahamut is an upcoming Square Enix game for the Nintendo DS. Here we have the trailer of the video game. The game sets in a city built on the back of a great beast known as the Gigant. The city suddenly comes under attack and Ibuki and Yui must defend it. The Gigant is sentient, and will also attempt to defend itself, taking part in battles, though whether or not it will be controllable has not been confirmed. [GT] More
Contrary to what we thought was coming today, the Nintendo DSi release will be delayed until 2009. Sorry to dissapoint you folks, but the chief of Nintendo America himself, Mr. Reggie Fils-Aimé broke it to the press (and breaking our bubble at the same time) at the Nintendo Media Summit in San Francisco today. And the reason.. is because sales for the Nintendo DS Lite is currently high in the States. Profit is the name of the business, my friend. [Joystiq]
