
The highly anticipated Nintendo DSi finally reaches US tomorrow on April 5, 2009. As a reminder, this new console offers two integrated digital cameras, an SD memory card slot, an interactive audio, Nintendo DSiWare, MP3 playback and many other innovative features. A new gamepad known as the Classic Controller Pro will soon make its way for Nintendo’s Wii cosole. It serves as an alternative to the signature Wii remote for playing GameCube or Virtual Console titles. The controller features similar grips to those on an Xbox 360 controller with a notable rearrangement of all edge-mounted buttons to fit on the shoulders, as on the Playstation 3’s Sixaxis controller. Nintendo gives three new colors to the Nintendo DSi. Priced at ¥18,900 each, the new Nintendo DSi will be released in Japan on March 20th, 2009. For your info, Australia will receive only black and white DSi models starting April 2nd; Europe will get the new black or white DSi on April 3rd; and the US will receive its DSi on April 5th in either black or blue.
