
Energizer has released the Induction Charge Station for Nintendo Wii that uses induction to achieve wireless charging of the Wii remotes. You can now pre-order the charge station for $50 a pop. The device can recharge up to two Wiimotes simultaneously with or without having to remove their protective silicone sleeve. [LikeCool]

Nintendo has officially confirmed that the Wii MotionPlus will be released in the US on June 8, 2009 and the Wii Sports Resort will follow on July 26, 2009. The Wii Sports Resort works with the Wii Motion Plus and consists of 10 games including jet ski, frisbee throwing and sword fighting. [Joystiq]

According to rumors, a double USB hard drive is making its way to the Nintendo Wii which will be available in both 32GB and 64GB models. The hard drive is supposed to mount on the back of the Wii, and designed to look like a natural part of the console. To use it you’ll need to get a firmware update.
