Sky Player Coming To Xbox Live

Sky has confirmed the release date for its Sky Player on demand video player for Microsoft Xbox Live in the UK. The Sky Player will be released on October 27th, 2009. The Sky Player on Xbox deal means owners of the console will get access to on demand content and live streaming, as long as they have the correct Sky account (or are willing to pay for a subscription). Microsoft Digital Entertainment Handheld System Codenamed xYz

According to TeamXbox, Microsoft’s upcoming digital entertainment handheld system codenamed xYz is in the final design stages. This new handheld gaming system puts itself somewhere in-between the Xbox and Zune platforms, giving you a range of entertainment features including Live Anywhere as found on Xbox, media playback, gaming and internet connectivity, but no phone.
