This open-source console also comes with a Fedora-based Linux distro that offers game play, Internet access, VoIP communications and HD video playback. The gadget is also compatible with Envizions “cloud” computing service, where users can browse Amiga-based games and an Akimbo-based VOD (video on demand) service. Zeebo has joined with Qualcomm to designed a new gaming console for emerging markets. The gadget features 3G wireless and will be launched in Brazil next month.
