Skate 2 Release Date

Still remember the Skate 2? As we mentioned before, EA today announced that the sequel to the popular skateboarding game will be released in North America on January 21, 2009. EA also announced that for those who pre-order this video game right now will receive an exclusive code to unlock the Throwback Pack, a special upgrade pack that includes retro clothing, accessories and gestures in-game. Now that’s cool! The Skate 2 will be available for Sony PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. [DigitalBattle]

Tiberium First Person Shooter Game Cancelled

We have heard before that the first person shooter based on the Command & Conquer universe, Tiberium would be delayed to a 2010 release. The fact is that the video game has been canceled by Electronic Arts. Mike Verdu, the executive producer for the game, has confirmed that the reason behind the cancellation was because of the game not meeting quality standards. Too bad! [BluesNews]

Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath is actually an expansion pack that is currently being developed by Electronic Arts Los Angeles for the real-time strategy video game Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.
