Sky has confirmed the release date for its Sky Player on demand video player for Microsoft Xbox Live in the UK. The Sky Player will be released on October 27th, 2009. The Sky Player on Xbox deal means owners of the console will get access to on demand content and live streaming, as long as they have the correct Sky account (or are willing to pay for a subscription).
