Electronic Arts has just announced its Nintendo Wii line-up. Some games will include: NFL Football 2007, Need For Speed: Carbon, Harry Potter, Tiger Woods PGA Tour, The Godfather, and SSX. These games are set to be released this fall.

Nintendo launched the limited edition of Final Fantasy III themed Nintendo DS Lite. Square Enix the publisher of Final Fantasy III will be selling the bundle package which includes the game and a crystal white Nintendo DS. The Nintendo DS features a special artwork by the legendary Akihiko Yoshida on top of the system. The unit goes on sale in Japan on August 24th for 22,780 Yen or around $ 200 and the game for 5,980 Yen or about $ 52.

…the UMD pullage is indeed a company-wide effort. The chain, the reader says, decided to devote the space the non-selling UMDs were taking up to IFC independent movies. The chain will continue to sell the PSP flicks on their site though.

We have mentioned this game before. So this is an update for our previous post. EA Games has revealed the 8 racing modes for the upcoming Need For Speed: Carbon. The racing modes include Drift, Sprint, Circuit and Speedtrap. The new ones are based on the “Canyon” circuits, Canyon Duel, Canyon Race, and Canyon Drift. I think “Canyon Drift” will be the same as a Drift mode in Need For Speed: Underground 2. Who knows?
