We got NBA 2K8 for the PS3 to review. We gotta say that this game is pretty awesome. It makes NBA Live 08 look like a joke. The graphics and game play overall are more realistic. It’s like getting two games for the price of one, specifically because of the NBA Blacktop Mode. I’d definitely recommend this game to everyone! Although Australians have to wait a little longer to get the XBox 360, they save a lot of money. The XBox 360 Core dropped from $429 AUD to $399 AUD (the same price as the Nintendo Wii), while the 20GB XBox pro goes from $649 AUD to $579 AUD.
The XBox regional director for Oceania, David McLean, said that the HDMI-equipped boxes are going to be coming to Australia soon. The Elite and Halo 3 special editions are going to be released soon as well, although release date are unknown.
