Electronic Arts Ships Four Games For Mac

Good news for Mac users. Electronic Arts’ games Battlefield 2142, Command and Conquer 3, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and Need for Speed Carbon are all now available for order at the Apple Store. The retail stores will have Need for Speed Carbon and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on Tuesday, August 21, 2007 and Battlefield 2142 and Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars on Tuesday, August 28, 2007. EA also announces that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08 and Madden NFL 08 will not be available until the September/October.

Although Australians have to wait a little longer to get the XBox 360, they save a lot of money. The XBox 360 Core dropped from $429 AUD to $399 AUD (the same price as the Nintendo Wii), while the 20GB XBox pro goes from $649 AUD to $579 AUD.

The XBox regional director for Oceania, David McLean, said that the HDMI-equipped boxes are going to be coming to Australia soon. The Elite and Halo 3 special editions are going to be released soon as well, although release date are unknown.
