The Release Date Of Electronic Arts Army Of Two

Electronic Arts’ upcoming action-shooter Army of Two has finally received a release date. The game will be released in November 15, 2007 on the Xbox 360 and Sony PlayStation 3. The launch date is for both North America and Europe. In this game, the two players help each other throughout the missions, from cover, to healing, etc. You can also play with the AI through the single player campaign.

Metal Gear Solid Mobile Phone Game

Hideo Kojima was revealed a new Metal Gear branded mobile phone at the Metal Gear Solid 20th Anniversary party in Tokyo. The handset will be released with a 3D Metal Gear game pre-installed on it. The game will be downloadable for all mobile phones that support it as well. No word on pricing or the release date yet.

Electronic Arts’ Burnout For Mobile Phones

Electronic Arts will release its popular racer Burnout to mobile phones. The game is being developed by EA Mobile’s studio in Chertsey, UK. According to the press release, Burnout for mobile phones is expected to release in August for all major cell phone operators.

The 1.90 Firmware update has just hit Japanese Sony PlayStation 3. The US’ Playstation Blog reports that firmware 1.90 will be available to download in the next few days. The new firmware brings several new features. Here are the complete changes.

• Ability to rearrange games on the XMB
• Option menu now includes “eject disk”
• Press triangle to eject games/CDs/movies in the XMB
• XMB backgrounds
• Change the folder classification
• Emoticons
• Change CD output to 44.1/88.2/176.4kHz
• Force 24Hz output for Blu-ray over HDMI
• Change PS3 video settings in-game
• “Bit Mapping” in the “Music Setting”
• Save AVCHD type animations from a Memory Stick
• Change settings like upscaling while playing PS and PS2 games
• Add bookmarks
• Web browser security function in the browser’s tool section
• Avatar moves during audio visual chat

Possible Release Dates For Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare

According to French gaming site Xboxygen, Activision has announced the release dates of the Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game will be released in North America on October 30, while Europe has to wait ten more days for November 9. The Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare features the World War II-theme for modern combat.
