Bungie Resets 15,000 Halo Reach Players

by Johan on October 3, 2010

Bungie has decided to reset the stats and ranks for around 15,000 Halo Reach players, because they cheated the system in order to gain more XP. Bungie explains that the reset players were using “an exploit that allowed players to complete a Challenge 20+ times via intentional network manipulation (i.e., disconnects.).” Bungie recently posted on its official site that the studio will not only be resetting 15k gamer credits to zero, but will also be issuing a one day ban.
