EA has confirmed that the Battlefield 1943 would be released on July 9th, 2009. Unfortunately, DICE community manager Gordon Van Dyke refused to confirm this date because they are still working on the game and “need to settle a few minor things” before setting on a date.
Battlefield 1943 will be released as a downloadable title for $15 on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Meanwhile, PC owners will have to wait until September 2009 to try this game. [Joystiq]

I think this game might be pretty good, it sure is taking them a while to release it so I hope so. Believe it was made for PC gaming, too bad PC Gamers have to wait so long.
