Check out this new Yharnam environment tour video for Bloodborne. Courtesy of IGN, this latest video takes us to a trip through dark and frightening environments of Yharnam. To refresh your memory, this action-role playing video game takes place in the gothic, ruined city of Yharnam which is rumored to house a potent medical remedy. Over the years, many travelers make pilgrimages to the city seeking the remedy to cure their afflictions; the player takes the role as one of these travelers. Upon arriving in Yharnam, however, it is discovered that the city is plagued with an endemic illness that has malformed most of its denizens into bestial creatures. The player must navigate the streets of Yharnam and overcome its violently deranged inhabitants and horrifying monsters in order to survive. Bloodborne will hit PS4 on March 24th in North America. The launch trailer for Turtle Rock Studios’ newly released asymmetrical, cooperative/competitive shooter video game ‘Evolve’ is finally here. The game is out today on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms. To refresh your memory, Evolve is an asymmetrical multiplayer game, pitting four player-controlled Hunters against an alien Monster, controlled by a fifth player. Both Hunters and Monsters can use unique abilities during the game. The Monster player can kill other smaller creatures to evolve and become stronger by entering a cocoon stage, leaving itself vulnerable for a short duration. The game will feature a variety of maps, one of which being a large jungle, with some industrial elements where players can take shelter. Watch the trailer after the break. Read more
Tecmo Koei has released a new gameplay video for Deception IV: Another Princess. The video shows Deception III: Dark Delusion’s Reina in action. As a direct sequel to Deception IV: Blood Ties, Deception IV: Another Princess is scheduled to hit PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita on March 26, 2015. Just to remind you, in Deception series, each game focused on strategy, the player aims to defeat enemies by luring them into a wide variety of traps. Here’s a look at the Japanese box art for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo, the game plays as an open world role-playing video game, with an emphasis on exploration. Traveling can take place on foot, or in large humanoid robots approximately four times the height of the average playable character, called “Dolls”, that the player may opt to control. The Dolls have the ability to fly, traverse water, and transform into vehicles such as motorcycles or tanks. Aerial battles will also take place in the game. Xenoblade Chronicles X will be released on April 29th in Japan for the Nintendo Wii U. [VG247]
