Enemy Territory: Quake Wars has gone gold. Publisher Activision announced that the multiplayer shooter is in production and will be released on September 28, 2007. The game will retail for $49.99, with the Limited Collector’s Edition going for $59.99. However, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions are still in development, and are not expected to go gold any time soon.

Mass Effect, the newest sci-fi RPG from Bioware, will be released on November 20th, 2007. For those who are unfamiliar with the company, they’ve got a long list of successes including Baldur’s Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights, KOTOR, and Jade Empire.

Japan’s Arcadia Magazine has revealed “Bob”, a new Tekken 6 character. He’s a martial arts genius who engineered his body to become huge when he was unable beat opponents bigger than him. Other fighters didn’t take him seriously, so Bob entered The King of Iron Fist Tournament 6 to test his new powers.

Grand Theft Auto IV will make its debut in retail stores on October 16th. However, there is also a special edition of the game. The Special Edition will include a soundtrack of tunes from top artists, a Rockstar keychain for the safety deposit box the game will be packaged in, a limited edition Rockstar duffle bag, and never-before-seen artwork. It retails for $89.99. In case you didn’t know, GTA IV will be released for both Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3.

If you’re a PC gamer, so this might be good news for you. A demo for the highly anticipated first person shooter, Crysis, will be released on September 25th, 2007. The demo will include the entire first level, “Contact.” Along with this, Crytek promises that there will be a huge surprise in stock for gamers. The full version of this game is expected to hit shelves on November 16th, 2007.
