
Activision and Infinity Ward have officially announced the availability of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game will offer players various war zone experiences including “fast-roping from Blackhawk helicopters”, being a “sniper, under concealment, in a Ghillie suit miles behind enemy lines” and “engaging hostiles from an AC-130 gunship thousands of feet above the battlefield.” Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare will be released for the PC, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this Fall.

Midway’s Mortal Kombat is one of the first games ever to have an M rating. The new version of this game is now available for the Nintendo Wii. Mortal Kombat: Armageddon takes gameplay in new directions. Players can create their own fighter to match along with more than sixty fighters from the MK Universe. They can also customize their own fatalities. The game retails for $49.95 in the US.

The Nintendo DS Lite was already available in Ceramic White, Jet Black, Pink, Enamel Navy and Light Blue. The console will be available in two new colors, Metallic Rose and Glossy Silver. They will be launched in Japan on June 23 for $140. Hit the jump to see more pics.

Rockstar will release new Midnight Club series. According to Eurogamer, a fourth edition of this game is headed to the Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early in 2008. Dubbed as the Midnight Club: Los Angeles, the game is being developed by Rockstar’s San Diego and will “redefine the idea of a completely immersive racing game experience, both offline and online.” Stay tuned for more updates!
